Seahawks DST, Week 2 Defense Rankings

It’s Week 15 of the NFL and it’s time to select the best fantasy football picks for your one day real money leagues as selected by Fanpick.com

The Arizona Cardinals are off to the road to meet the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cardinals are the number three passing team in the NFL this year by throwing for 299 yards per game. The Eagles have struggled in pass defense by allowing 258 yards passing per game.

Carson Palmer has been injury free in 2015 and is having a very great year. He had a good season in 2014 but a season long injury ended his campaign. Palmer is completing 64.5% of his throws for 4003 yards with 31 touchdowns and 9 picks. He has thrown for over 300 yards in two straight and five of his past six games. The signal caller has thrown for multiple touchdown passes in six of his past seven games. Last week in the 23-20 victory to the Minnesota Vikings Palmer completed 71% of his throws for 310 yards with two touchdowns.

Play on Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals QB

The Seattle Seahawks are home to meet the Cleveland Browns. Seattle has played their best football of the season as the club has won four straight and has scored 29 or greater points in all four games.

We are going to look at the Seahawks defense on Sunday. They gave up six at Baltimore last week and seven points at Minnesota two weeks ago. They face an offensively challenged Cleveland Browns team at home on Sunday. Look for the veteran Seahawks secondary to give fits to Johnny Manziel. Cleveland has no running game to support Manziel and a one dimensional approach on offense will play into the Seahawks hands.

The Green Bay Packers are heading out west to meet the Oakland Raiders. The Packers are looking to run the football a lot more. They rushed for 230 yards last week on 44 carries. With Aaron Rodgers lacking adequate weapons in the passing game the Packers are resorting to running the football to help create space for their receivers.

Eddie Lacy got 24 carries last week and produced 124 yards and a rushing touchdown as he was a big part of the offense. What happens to players when they are relevant in the game plan is they prepare better and are more effective. Lacy has rushed for over 100 yards in three of his past four games. We have seen Oakland have poor defensive games against dynamic offensive teams. Adrian Peterson in a one dimensional offense ran wild in Oakland.

Play Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers RB

Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan is taking a hit to his pride. His defense which has plenty of talent had underperformed. Instead of calling them out as a unit he blamed himself. Ryan has been tagged as a player’s coach and often will use the desperation card to get a one game monster performance that lasts just that one game then the team digresses.

We saw that when the Bills beat the Jets. They made such a big deal out of that victory that it made the game’s following not as important. Look for Buffalo to give that one huge defensive performance on Sunday against a Washington team that has the 25th ranked offense in the NFL.

The Carolina Panthers are just punishing teams. They have scored 33 or greater points in four straight games. The number one target for Cam Newton to throw to in the passing game is tight end Greg Olsen. Olsen will be running patterns on the worst pass defense in the NFL.
