15 Men’s Restroom Rules

Coming up with men’s restroom rules wasn’t that hard. I’ve worked in an office environment for most of my life, and it’s safe to say that I have learned the do’s, don’ts and doo-doos of sharing a bathroom with dozens of men from multiple businesses.

I have a lot of experience in the bathroom, I’m sort of a poop prodigy. My Disney Poop Story alone would make you think I’m a magnet for crazy things happening to me in public restrooms. Iv’e had 6-year-old boys eyeball me through the stall door until I was finished, and I’ve had toilets overflow in the stall next to me.

Best Classic Rock Albums of All Time: Mock Draft

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Donovan, The Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Guns N’ Roses (Why is the apostrophe on the “N” like that?), along with several people you haven’t heard of, in 2012.

There are very few current bands I would consider “rock bands,” like Foo Fighters, Chili Peppers, Jack White, and maybe Linkin Park, The Strokes and a couple others I’m forgetting? But the days of listening to an entire album (vinyl or not) are long behind us.

13 Most Annoying People in Your Office

I have worked in an office environment since 1991. (That’s about 847 years in office-working time.) I’ve worked in customer service, in accounts receivables, on a writing staff, in a newsroom and in the wide-open space I’m at now, with DigitalLanding.com.

I’m lucky to have the job and the co-workers I currently have, but my years of experience have taught me one thing – headphones are your friends.

Fantasy Football Gameday: Spicy Popcorn Recipe

People that know me know I love three things: Spicy things, popcorn and wearing skinny jeans. (OK, notsomuch the third, but I like to keep you on your toes.) So I thought I’d take some time out to share with you my Spicy Popcorn recipe, which should make any game-watching activities even greater. It ain’t rocket surgery, but many people aren’t familiar with popping your own popcorn in this day and age, so I’ll spell it all out.

2015-2016 Fantasy Basketball Rookies Preview

This year’s draft class of rookies is loaded full of NBA talent and every one is excited to get in on the action in Fantasy Basketball. The analysts (read fortune tellers) at FiveThirtyEight had this to say about his year’s group: “While there figure to be fewer future superstars available this year than in 2014’s rookie crop, it might be a banner year for solid, above-average players. Even taking into account the superior star power of a year ago, the model projects this year’s class to contain about 10 percent more players who grade out as a future NBA starter or better.” Even so, drafting rookies in fantasy basketball redraft leagues has always been a dangerous proposition. Consider the output of last year’s rookie class as provided by Fasketball.com, which was actually extremely productive: Only Nerlens Noel managed to crack the top 100 in standard leagues, even though Wiggins played all 82 at a staggering 36.2 minutes per game. The issue is not that these players won’t ever be great, it’s that making it big as rookie requires more stars to align than there are cards in an astrology tarot deck. Opportunity, luck, physique, and timing all play a factor however most rookies will still be wildly inefficient and turnover prone, destroying any value they do create. Check out Fasketball.com’s Fantasy Basketball tools, like their real-time injury updates, customizable, projections, and their Head-to-Head schedule grid.   2015-2016 Fantasy Basketball Rookies So who should you draft and when? Here is our advice on how to handle these young prospects this season and into the future.   Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves The thing that makes KAT a future fantasy basketball stud is his lack of weaknesses. He blocks shots, he shoots, he is efficient, and he is already an exceptional passer for a big man. The biggest limiting factor for him will be the log jam in the Timberwolves front court as he will be competing for minutes with NBA players Gorgui Dieng, Nikola Pekovic, and Kevin Garnett. And that’s not even mentioning young prospects Adreian Payne and Anthony Bennett. Given what he showed in summer league and the fact he was a number 1 overall pick, he should still be extremely productive even in around 25 minutes per game. Don’t reach too early but if...

Top 10 Fantasy Golfers for DFS Value in 2015

Top 10 Fantasy Golfers for DFS Value in 2015

If you look at the rankings for the 2015 top 10 golfers on the PGA Tour right now, you probably won’t see many surprises. It’s all based upon performance, which is public knowledge and it’s even ranked in the form of the FedEx Cup rankings. When it comes to Daily Fantasy Golf, though, your approach needs to be much different than just looking at the top 10. Not only because you can’t realistically draft many of these golfers at once because of the salary cap, but because the prices of many of these golfers is too high in comparison to what they will contribute in fantasy points. In this regard, let’s look at the Top 10 Fantasy golfers in the FedEx Cup rankings, and then show what you should be looking for when drafting your roster. Remember, you have 6 golfers to choose from, and there’s no way that you can choose 6 from the top 10 list because of price. Still, get a good start, and the rest of your roster will take care of itself if you haven’t spent too much to secure high scorers for yourself. Top 10 Fantasy Golfers in DFS Value   1. Jordan Spieth When you’re the No. 1 ranked golfer, everyone wants you on their roster. That doesn’t help you at all when you’re trying to get the top guy at a good price. Spieth is a great golfer for sure, but he has so-so value in daily leagues. He’s too expensive, and while he will give you good results, drafting him will hurt the rest of your lineup. Spieth has cost about $12,000 in tournaments, and that’s almost a quarter of your salary right there. If he can contribute more than 25 percent of your points, though, he can become a good buy. Take him on a case by case basis, but don’t count on him being worth the price often. 2. Bubba Watson Watson has played in 13 tournaments this year, and has finished in the top 10 in 6 of them. In 5, he’s finished in the top 3. Watson has great value in this respect as top 5 finishes in daily golf leagues have huge value. If you...
