2013 Fantasy Football PPR Tight End Rankings

Fantasy owners in PPR leagues don’t normally change their opinions, too much when they look at 2013 Fantasy Football Tight End PPR Rankings.

Or at least, they don’t change their standard rankings as much as PPR Running Back Rankings or PPR Wide Receiver Rankings.

Basically, when adjusting your standard rankings to PPR rankings for tight ends, you’re looking for tight ends that get a lot of action between the 20s, but not necessarily that many opportunities to score. But really, who wants a tight end that’s not going to score that much.

And since most Fantasy formats only ask for one tight end in the starting lineup, there’s not much to worry about. There’s plenty of talent to go around, even with Aaron Hernandez joining the Mass State Correctional Fantasy League.

The Decade For Tight Ends (minus Hernandez)

We’re in a weird ultra-crazy tight end Fantasy scoring era, and that means for PPR leagues also. At the very top of the position, there were three tight ends in 2012 that caught over 80 passes – which is about the average of the previous five seasons also.

But there were 10 different tight ends with at least 60 receptions in 2012, compared to an average of eight over the previous five seasons.

No matter which way you look at it, the tight end position is much more important in PPR leagues than in years past.
