The regular season is winding down so let’s take a look at Week 12 from college football and isolate some preferred fantasy sports picks for your one day leagues at Fanpicks.com

From the Big Ten conference the Wisconsin Badgers are home to the Northwestern Wildcats. Both teams sit at 8-2 on the season. Wisconsin has put up some outstanding defensive numbers at home in 2015. The team is allowing a mere 5 points per game at home as they have met six teams in their stadium. They allowed an undefeated Iowa team just ten points back on October 3.

Regardless of whether they are home or away the Badgers are giving up just 12.3 points per game which is ranked first from all of college football. Northwestern has not been a very explosive offensive team in 2015. In their three road games this year the Wildcats has pushed across just 16 points per contest. Overall the team is 111th in total offense and scoring offense this year.

They are not moving the ball through the air this year as they pass for just 146 yards per game season to date. Wisconsin is doing a very good job stopping the run so this game sets up for a lower scoring game and for the Badgers defense to shine in this home meeting.

There is a rivalry game scheduled from the PAC 12 conference as the Arizona St Sun Devils are home to face the Arizona Wildcats. The Wildcats got the victory they needed last week with a home victory to Utah which gave the team their sixth win of the season and are now bowl eligible.

The Wildcats have been a bad defensive team in 2015 as the allow 271 yards passing and 34 points per game. Arizona could be a tired team as they will be playing 12 straight games having not had a bye week until the following week. Arizona St is a hungry team as they are 5-5 and in need of a victory to become bowl eligible. The Sun Devils close out their regular season next week in a tough road spot at California. If ASU is to make a bowl game this is their spot to get in.

This home spot figures to be a good one for Sun Devils quarterback Mike Bercovici. He has passed for 2726 yards this year with 20 touchdowns and 8 picks. He should find some open receivers to throw too as the Arizona Wildcats have not covered well in the secondary this year. Against a bad defensive team in Oregon, Bercovici passed for 398 yards with five touchdowns.

It’s the Big Game and a very popular rivalry from Northern California as the Stanford Cardinal will play host to the California Golden Bears. With their loss to Oregon last week the Cardinal has plenty of motivation to play hard here because with a win the team clinches the PAC 12 North and with that is a trip to the conference championship game.

California got the win they needed last week with a 54-24 home win to a down Oregon St team. The significance of that win for Cal was it was their sixth win and they became bowl eligible. Stanford is a strong rushing team as they pile up 224 yards per game which ranks as 18th best in the nation.

Christian McCaffrey has been the workhorse in the Cardinal backfield with 231 carries for 1354 yards with seven touchdowns. He is rushing for nearly 6 yards per carry and is facing a Cal defense that allows 199 yards rushing per game ranking 100th in the country.
