Daily Fantasy Football: Week 6 Discount Diving and FanDuel Cheat Sheet

Another few days of Football is upon us, and with it another chance to get some winning Daily Fantasy Football lineups. After missing a post last week (I do apologize, and hope I helped those who asked on Twitter) I am back and hoping to help you all find a few of those discounted value plays that can help fill out your roster.

A reminder that I am not talking about High stakes contests, or huge tournaments although I would likely roll this lineup out in some larger ones if I could. There are plenty of great daily sites besides Fanduel to play on, including the one David Gonos and I actively participate in every week SKYLLZONE.COM. If you are interested in trying it out you definitely should and best of all….IT IS FREE! You have nothing to lose but five to ten minutes of your time.

Ok, let’s get into the Discount Diving.

Week 6 Discount Diving

Quarterback: Blake Bortles, Jacksonville vs Pittsburgh– Bortles doesn’t have an easy matchup this week, but his cost of $6,400 on FanDuel this week makes him an appealing play if you feel like discounting the QB position. He has put up 22 and 18.4 points in his last 2 starts, so banking on 15 plus points this week isn’t far-fetched. Projected FanDuel Points: 16.4

Running Back: Rashad Jennings, New York Giants vs Atlanta- In a way Jennings terrible week 4 is good for discount divers this week. He faces the Falcons defense which has let running backs destroy them all season. Jennings is the horse for the Ginats, and if there is any week you must start him, it is this week. Plus he comes in at a snug little $7,200. For a likely top 5 back this week, I love it. Projected FanDuel Points: 17.2

Wide Receiver: Allen Robinson, Jacksonville vs Pittsburgh- This is a player who can have a very nice week, or he could get you less than 10 points. With Cecil Shorts out, Robinson will continue to be a Bortles favorite underneath. Pittsburgh has allowed nearly 450 yards in the last two weeks. For $6,000 Robinson is worth the shot for your WR3Projected FanDuel Points: 9.3

Tight End: Travis Kelce, Kansas City at San Francisco- He has turned heads the last few weeks and deservedly so. However this week he faces a defense that has stifled Tight Ends all season long. Although that makes it risky, Kelce’s presence in the red-zone is undeniable and his odds of getting a touchdown and five or six receptions is real. Sign me up for $5,300! Projected FanDuel Points: 9.5
