FanPicks NFL Fantasy Football Picks Week 10

Aaron Rodgers, PPR Mock Draft

It is now Week 10 of the NFL season and it’s time to play fantasy football picks for one day real money leagues at FanPicks.com

The Green Bay Packers return home to battle the 1-7 Detroit Lions. It was a tough two game road trip for Green Bay as they dropped games at Denver and Carolina to fall to 6-2 and tied with the Minnesota Vikings atop the NFC North division.

The Packers are a very good home team as they put up 29 points per game. This should set up a big performance by Aaron Rodgers.

The signal caller is completing 64.7% of his throws for 1937 yards with 19 touchdowns and 3 picks. In his four home games on the schedule he has passed for 11 touchdowns. He had four touchdowns with a pick and 369 passing yards last week at Carolina. Lions are 1-7 going nowhere this season. They are 32nd in the NFL in scoring defense by allowing 30.6 points a game.

The Philadelphia Eagles will host AFC opponent the Miami Dolphins. The Eagles will be facing an opponent not familiar with their offensive formations and pass patterns since the teams meet only once every four years.

Wideout Jordan Matthews leads the Eagles with 531 receiving yards with two touchdowns. He is coming off his best performance of the year last week at Dallas with nine catches for 133 yards and a touchdown. He has developed better chemistry with quarterback Sam Bradford. The Dolphins have gone backwards with back to back losses at New England and Buffalo where they gave up no fewer than 33 points in these performances. The Dolphins are 25th on the year in total defense this year.

The Oakland Raiders return home after getting shredded on defense last week to the Minnesota Vikings in defeat. The 6-2 Minnesota Vikings are the opponent in this game. Pittsburgh was able to exploit this young Raiders defense last week as they produced 597 yards of offense with 195 yards rushing.

DeAngelo Williams a veteran running back was able to rush for 170 yards and two touchdowns in his 27 carries last week at Oakland. With a young quarterback on the road look for the Vikings to run Adrian Peterson heavy in this game using game film to set blocking strategies that were successful by the Pittsburgh offensive line. Peterson has rushed 169 times this year for 758 yards with four touchdowns. He has had over 100 yards rushing in two straight games including last week against a good Rams defense where he piled up 125 yards and a touchdown.

The New York Giants are home to battle the New England Patriots. The Giants have struggled with their pass defense this year by allowing 308 yards passing per game. New England enters play with the top scoring offense in the NFL by scoring 34 points per game. They are third best in the NFL in tossing for 325 yards per game. Tight end Rob Gronkowski leads the Patriots with 44 catches for 693 yards and seven touchdowns. Gronkowski will be running patterns against the 31st and second worst passing defense in the NFL.
