Week 11 QB Rankings – Looking Ahead to the Playoffs — Sponsored by SKYLLZONE

Drew Brees, New Orleans

Over the past two weeks, 12 teams have gone on bye weeks, which means you’ve had 12 fewer quarterbacks to choose from for your starting lineup. While there are still four more teams going on a bye in Week 11, the Week 11 QB rankings look better stocked than they have in a while.

And that’s including the fact that Carson Palmer is done for the season with a torn ACL! Drew Stanton takes over for him in the desert, and he inherits an excellent passing offense with a stellar pass-catching running back, and three very good wide receivers in Larry Fitzgerald, rookie John Brown and Michael Floyd (although, the latter can be debated if he’s that good this season).

I find it really interesting that there are 23 quarterbacks that are owned in over 50 percent of CBSSports.com Fantasy leagues. Figure a couple percent of those are for 2-QB leagues, and some are for keeper leagues (like Palmer’s owners and Nick Foles’ owners).

But I thought it would be interesting to take this week to start looking ahead to the Fantasy Football playoffs, to find gems that are set up for great matchups in Weeks 14-16. I’ll be doing this for each position this week, so keep coming back!

I’ll be using FFToolbox.com’s Strength of Schedule for Weeks 14-16.

2 Best Quarterbacks for Fantasy Playoffs

Drew Brees, New Orleans – With home games against the Panthers and Falcons, and a road game against a Bears defense that just gave up six touchdown passes to Aaron Rodgers, Brees is the best QB option for the Fantasy playoffs.

Tony Romo, Dallas – No player has a better schedule during this stretch, although, we have to wonder if his back problems will allow him to play.

2 Sleeper Quarterbacks for Fantasy Playoffs

Week 10 RB Rankings, SKYLLZONE Fan vs. Machine Points GameEli Manning, N.Y. Giants – While he hasn’t been amazing this season, his luck has changed in the interception department, and he has just one pick in his past five games. He’ll face the Titans (eighth against QBs), Redskins (30th) and Rams (23rd) in Weeks 14-16.

Kyle Orton, Buffalo – He’ll need Sammy Watkins (groin) to be healthy by then, but Orton has averaged 18 Fantasy points in the five games since he took over under center. That’s a top 10 number, and the Bills play at Denver (25th), versus the Packers (13th) and at Oakland (19th).

2 Quarterbacks with Bad Fantasy Playoffs Matchups

Derek Carr, Oakland – We know, you’re not starting him anyway, but we have to mention his schedule for that span is the worst in Fantasy for QBs (SF, at KC, BUF).

Jay Cutler, Chicago – As if he doesn’t have enough problems right now, with six touchdown passes in his past four games, Cutler also faces a tough playoffs schedule. They might be all home games, but facing the Cowboys (11th), Saints (16th) and Lions (1st) is a tough stretch.

These Week 11 QB rankings should also help you in Daily Fantasy play, too. Especially for the Fan vs. Machine instant snake drafts on SKYLLZONE.com.
