Week 14 Fantasy Football Rankings – Let the Playoffs Begin!

Week 14 Fantasy Football Playoffs

If you’re reading these Week 14 Fantasy Football rankings, there’s likely only two reasons for it: 1. You beat out half of your league for one of a few coveted playoff spots. 2. You’re in a league that doesn’t have a championship game until Week 17 and you’re sick of people mocking your league because of it.

Fair enough.

Either way, unless you’ve been eliminated from the Fantasy playoffs or you earned a first-round bye like a boss, you need to see what’s what among this week’s rankings. We have some new blood among the running backs (Marion Grice), wide receivers (Stedman Bailey), tight ends (Dion Sims) and kickers (Connor Barth) over the past few weeks, so the rankings have been shaken up a bit.

Looking Ahead to the Fantasy Playoffs

I wrote a couple articles earlier this week about players to pick up for this week on SportsIllustrated.com and also an article with “9 Tips for Fantasy Football Playoffs Success” on About.com.

Week 14 Fantasy Football Rankings, SKYLLZONE Fan vs. Machine Points GameRookie wide receivers continue to be the hottest segment of players in the NFL, with both Donte Moncrief and Marqise Lee making a ton of noise this past week. It’s crazy to think that about 14 players have already affected the 2014 Fantasy Football season, are still just rookie wide receivers. Eight have 48 or more receptions, 11 have more than 500 receiving yards and nine have five or more touchdown receptions! Without question, this is the best rookie class of wide receivers ever!

Even though your waiver wire has already passed, you might still be able to make some moves for next week – not Week 14, but Week 15! Jacksonville’s Lee will face the Ravens in Week 15, and they have the worst defense against wide receivers in the NFL.

If you’re in the market for a new kicker, you should think about picking up the kicker that plays on the same team as your Fantasy opponent’s quarterback or star player. Every time that player scores a touchdown, you’ll get a point! And if the team chooses to go for a field goal, you win doubly so.

Week 14 Fantasy Football Rankings

These rankings are based on standard non-PPR Fantasy leagues with four points per passing touchdown and minus-one point for interceptions, along with six points for rushing/receiving touchdowns.
