I’m participating in a mock draft for a 12-team PPR league on MyFantasyLeague.com, where you can follow all of the draft picks daily. They call this the MFL 10s Experts League, and I discussed the first two rounds on Tuesday, so here are the next couple rounds! There weren’t a lot of surprises, and I’m definitely building my team from the backfield out.
Here are my first two picks:
Here are the links to Rounds 1 & 2, as well as Rounds 5-8.
3.01 Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit – Chet, TheFakeFootball.com: Could be top-15 player value if he stays healthy again.
3.02 Brandon Marshall, WR, Chicago – Stein, MyFantasyLeague.com: Reuniting with Jay Cutler could bring both back to the Fantasy values they had in Denver.
3.03 Greg Jennings, WR, Green Bay – De Lima, 4For4.com
3.04 Hakeem Nicks, WR, N.Y. Giants – Andrew, StarStreet.com: There’s no doubt in my mind that he’s the top pick of the two Giants wide receivers.
3.05 Victor Cruz, WR, N.Y. Giants – Corey, SiriusXM: You’ll probably see these two Giants receivers picked back-to-back more than any other duo in Fantasy Football history.
3.06 Julio Jones, WR, Atlanta – Brian, FantasyTaz.com
3.07 Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota – William, FFOasis.com: Excellent spot to take the former No. 1 overall Fantasy pick. Not too risky here. Let’s see where Toby Gerhart goes.
3.08 Roddy White, WR, Atlanta – Christian, TheFFAddict.com: Would have LOVED to grab him with my next pick.
3.09 Steven Jackson, RB, St. Louis – Gonos, RotoExperts.com: Good value in PPR leagues certainly. He’s not even 30 years old yet. I’ll take it!
3.10 Fred Jackson, RB, Buffalo – Bill, DynastySportsEmpire.com: Coming off a broken leg. When he was healthy, he was looking like a top-10 Fantasy pick.
3.11 Ahmad Bradshaw, RB, N.Y. Giants – Shane, DraftCountdown.com:
3.12 Mike Wallace, WR, Pittsburgh – Jeff, ProFootballFocus.com
4.01 Dez Bryant, WR, Dallas – Jeff, ProFootballFocus.com
4.02 Reggie Bush, RB, Miami – Shane, DraftCountdown.com
4.03 Doug Martin, RB, Tampa Bay – Bill, DynastySportsEmpire.com: Might be a much better value pick here than his rookie counterpart, Richardson. Martin will play a big role in the Bucs’ passing game.
4.04 Marques Colston, WR, New Orleans – Gonos, RotoExperts.com: My first wide receiver is a decent one, but not one of the great ones I had hoped would drop.
4.05 Kenny Britt, WR, Tennessee – Christian, TheFFAddict.com: Coming back from another injury, but when he’s healthy, he’s capable of a 3-TD, 150-yard game every week.
4.06 Percy Harvin, WR, Minnesota – William, FFOasis.com
4.07 Jordy Nelson, WR, Green Bay – Brian, FantasyTaz.com: If you’re counting at home, that’s four pairs of wide receivers taken in the first four rounds (Atlanta, Dallas, Green Bay and N.Y. Giants).
4.08 Frank Gore, RB, San Francisco – Corey, SiriusXM
4.09 Jeremy Maclin, WR, Philadelphia – Andrew, StarStreet.com
4.10 Demaryius Thomas, WR, Denver – De Lima, 4For4.com: Could end up being a top-five wide receiver once Peyton Manning connects with him.
4.11 Miles Austin, WR, Dallas – Stein, MyFantasyLeague.com
4.12 Dwayne Bowe, WR, Kansas City – Chet, TheFakeFootball.com
