As a whole Week 2 was nauseating to watch, but if you went discount diving with me you likely once again ended up in the green in your Daily Fantasy sites bankrolls. It is also a constant reminder that in yearly leagues a bad week 2 can be beginning of the end thanks to an injury or an 0-2 start. In daily leagues a rough Week can mean some damage to your payroll, but you also get to start over from scratch. That is the beauty and the lure of DFS games folks.
In a scrambled frenzy of an extremely busy work week I wasn’t as on the up and up with the Fantasy side of my life this week. I managed to find some today tonight however to get a Cheat sheet and some discount players for your Week 3 FanDuel lineups. With a few cheaper positional players you can land certified studs for your lineups. Choose wisely and you can cruise to a cash winning finish.
Week 3 FanDuel Cheatsheet (Note: The link continues to say week 1, but the widget updates weeekly). If you haven’t yet played try this week and you won’t regret it, use my invitation code to join!
QB: Ryan Tannehill, Miami vs Kansas City- Tannehill hasn’t been a monster this season by any means but he is going up against the Chiefs defense who have allowed 500 plus passing yards in two weeks and 5 passing touchdowns. Tannehill seems to be building a connection with Mike Wallace which benefits both of them greatly. I like Tannehill as a discount option ($6,500) this week if you are looking to save money at the Quarterback position. Projected FanDuel Points: 16.2
RB: Khiry Robinson, New Orleans vs Minnesota- Here is a player who was essentially a third wheel as of last week. However, with Mark Ingram going down with an injury Khiry stands to be the primary ball-carrier this weekend. Pierre Thomas will also be involved, but largely on pass catching downs. Thomas has value too since the Vikings struggle mightily against pass-catching backs, but when you look at cost differences and the opportunity increase for Robinson, his ($4,700) price tag is very nice and worth the risk as your RB2 or Flex. Projected FanDuel Points: 13
RB: Stevan Ridley, New England vs Oakland- Talent has never been an issue for ridley, last week he was given carries and he reminded naysayers and his head coach what he can do. With 25 carries he accumulated 101 yards and touchdown. This week he faces the porous Raiders defense, and if the Shane Vereen being dinged up reports are valid, Ridley will be the man once again. Sign me up for ($6,200). Projected FanDuel Points: 13
WR: Golden Tate, Detroit vs Green Bay- The Packers don’t have a very good defense. In fact they gave up the 4th most points to Wide Receivers last season. In what maps out to be a high scoring and high flying affair it is hard not to like the sure-handed Tate this week. At his cost of ($5,000) his chances of over-performing cost are very good. Paired with a dynamic elite receiver could be very nice to your daily lineups. Projected FanDuel Points: 11.6
WR: Marques Colston, New Orleans vs Minnesota- His zero target nightmare in Week 2 helped make Colston affordable this week ($5,600). As I mentioned above the Vikings defense doesn’t matchup well against the Saints at home. In fact they were one of the worst in defending the pass last season, and this week looks to be more of the same. Colston will get his targets and I can smell a touchdown for him this week too! Projected FanDuel Points: 12.1
TE: Zach Ertz, Philadephia vs Washington: Ertz is a top 8 Tight End this season, and he has been consistent in the first two weeks. he didn’t find the end zone last week, but still made owners content. This week Ertz faces a Washington team that is prone to the touchdown and Ertz is a very big target. I nailed Delanie Walker last week, and let’s just say I am feeling it with Ertz this week too. He is cheap too for his likely production ($5,800) Projected FanDuel Points: 11.5
