Getting Max From Your Mins: 5 DFS Week 7 Sleepers

It’s important to remember that you don’t just want the best Fantasy Football players each week in your Daily Fantasy Football lineups. You want the best values.

In other words, you don’t just want Antonio Brown because he’s the best player – you want the players that are going to score the most points compared to their Fantasy salaries.

In this week’s piece, we’re going to look at some of the bargain basement guys, or Week 7 sleepers, for FanDuel games this weekend.

By using some cheap players that could provide some decent Fantasy numbers, we’re helping you shore up spots in your lineup so you can afford guys like Antonio Brown, David Johnson or Drew Brees. Sweet!

While these salaries are for FanDuel, the same players are priced cheaply on DraftKings, as well.

DraftKings is offering a free entry ticket as a bonus today. Redeem this DraftKings bonus now.

5 Daily Fantasy Week 7 Sleepers

These players all cost among the cheapest at each of their positions. These players, unless otherwise noted, are better plays in tournaments than in 50/50 games or double-ups.

Landry Jones, QB, PIT at NE: $6,200

The salaries for players are assigned before the previous week’s games are over, so Jones is still a cheap buy because the salary-makers didn’t know Big Ben (knee) was hurt yet.

The Patriots are sure to make the Steelers beat them with their passing game, which means plenty of pass attempts for Jones.

Luckily, he has superb weapons in his passing game, including Brown and Le’Veon Bell.

Chris Thompson, RB, WAS at DET: $4,900

Thompson is coming off a game in which he was used more than in any other game this season, and the third-down back has four red-zone touches in the Redskins’ past three games.

It’s easier to pass on the Lions than it is to run on them, but that falls into Thompson’s game as a pass-catcher.

Chris Ivory, RB, JAC vs. OAK: $5,500

The former Jets tailback had more touches than his sophomore counterpart, T.J. Yeldon, in Week 6 against the Bears.

Ivory scored one touchdown and his three red-zone touches in that game were the most of any Jaguars player since Allen Robinson has three red-zone targets in Week 3.

Only three defenses are allowing more Fantasy points to running backs than the Raiders, who are allowing an average of 4.94 yards per rush.

Adam Humphries, WR, TB at SF: $4,900

The Bucs placed Vincent Jackson (knee) on injured reserve this week, which means Humphries should see more targets out of the slot, and his salary was posted before this extra work was expected.

The Buccaneers don’t have much available for Jameis Winston after Mike Evans in the passing game.

But Humphries should be leaned on a little more against a 49ers defense that has allowed two receiving touchdowns to wide receivers in each of their past three games.

Kendall Wright, WR, TEN vs. IND: $5,000

Wright finally scored his first touchdown of the 2016 NFL season last week, while also leading the team with 133 receiving yards on eight catches.

Wright’s hamstring injury is obviously behind him, and he was the first 100-yard receiving wideout all season.

The Colts have the 29th-ranked pass defense, and while the Titans should lean on DeMarco Murray more than anything else, Wright is ready for another solid game in Week 7.

Don’t use all five of these Week 7 sleepers, of course, but hopefully, a couple of them will come through for you in GPP tournament play!
