I’ve been doing sports card collecting videos for a little over a year now, but many times, they get buried on YouTube because people are always looking for new content. So I thought I’d share my Top 10 card collecting videos here!
I sent in 45 cards to PSA to get graded in the beginning of 2021, but it took about 16 months for these graded cards to get back to me because of their backlog. Many of the cards graded in this video were pulled from packs when I was just a kid! They range from 1972 Topps Roberto Clemente all the way up to 2014 Topps Jacob deGrom!
This is the first video of a series I created to help people understand whose cards they should try to collect from the different eras in different sports. In this video, I talk about baseball cards from the vintage era between 1952 and 1971. This is easily my most successful video series I’ve ever done!
Along with the first video in my list, here are the 21 vintage sports cards I sent in back in early 2021. This is the set of vintage cards I sent in, though, including 1964 Topps Willie Mays, 1956 Topps Al Kaline and 1969 Topps Johnny Bench!
Most of the people in my YouTube channel’s audience are sports card collectors working on a limited budget, so I shared nine rules I like to follow when I make sports card purchases!
Over the past couple years, sports card collectors have had to choose between several grading companies, but for me, the decision really just came down to the war between these two teams. So I did a feature-by-feature comparison for your pleasure!
Just like the vintage video that came before it, this breakdown of the 12-most collectible baseball players from 1972 to 1999 was one of the most popular videos this year — and it was the fourth-most viewed video over the past six months!
SGC is one of the best grading companies around — and I love them. I share my 13 favorite reasons why you should consider sending your sports cards to them to get graded. (I did this video one year ago, and the company has gotten even better! I just sent 10 more cards to them this past week!
Along with the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle and the 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan, this 1989 Upper Deck Ken Griffey Jr. card ranks among the most iconic sports cards in the history of the world! I break down nine things you likely didn’t know about this landmark card!
I sent a mix of newer and older cards over to CSG to get graded last summer — and it didn’t go well! I don’t blame the grading company, I just blame my own eye for not catching all the problems with those cards!
While this isn’t a sports card collecting video, it is a fun video that I did five years ago, based around starting up new fantasy football leagues! Even five years later, it’s still one of my most popular videos watched every year!
