Week 4 Kicker Rankings — Sponsored by SKYLLZONE

We officially have to begin dealing with bye weeks in Week 4, which means you’ll likely have to go dumpster diving in the Week 4 kicker rankings to find a suitable starter among the free agents.

Lucky for you, kickers are always all over the place to start the season, which is just one of the many reasons veteran Fantasy drafters wait until their final draft pick to grab their kicker.

Not only were veteran kickers that got drafted cut before the season (like Alex Henery and Ryan Succop), but now, looking at the stats three weeks in, there are drafted kickers hanging out in the bottom of the Fantasy kicker pool.

Phil Dawson has just 14 points on two field goals and eight extra points in three weeks – better than just four other kickers.

Nate Freese, who was expected to do well taking over for David Akers in the high-powered Lions offense, has made just three of seven field goals, prompting the Lions to sign Henery this week as his replacement.

Another rookie, Brandon McManus, was thought to be an instant Fantasy hit (by myself, too, admittedly), as he took over the kicking duties from Matt Prater, while he served his suspension. While he has been a stud on kickoffs, he has just three field goals in three weeks.

On the other end of the spectrum, kickers like Cody Parkey, Dan Carpenter and Chandler Catanzaro are at the top of the heap, forcing Fantasy owners to start thinking about them more seriously. While Catanzaro has been perfect on the season, the rookie is on a bye this week – so you’ll have to consider him next week rather than this week.

These Week 4 Kicker rankings are helpful for Daily Fantasy play, as well. Especially for the Fan vs. Machine instant snake drafts on SKYLLZONE.com.
