Time for the waiver wire! Yes, chances are you’re still licking your wounds from a Week 6 Fantasy loss, or you may be still celebrating a win whether against a stranger, a co-worker, a friend or even your boss. I hate to be the negative one here, but it’s time to move on. It’s time to start pondering whom you’ll be scooping up from the Week 7 waiver wire.
This week there weren’t many breakout performances, but there were key injuries. We saw Stevan Ridley, Victor Cruz, and Darren Sproles go down with what may be key injuries. There was a good performance, from the unlikely Theo Reddick; however, his production should not continue once Reggie Bush returns.
There are upcoming bye-weeks, which could lead you to subbing in these pickups into your fantasy lineups. The teams on bye-weeks this week are the Eagles and Buccaneers, so keep that in mind. Remember to not drop anyone too significant just because they struggled this week. Lets get to the good stuff.

Palmer returned from injury this week, and put together a very good performance. Palmer threw for 250 yards and two TDs in his return, and looked quite sharp, I may add. In the two games that he’s been healthy this season, he has had over 20 fantasy points. Palmer said he was healthy after the game, so it looks like health may not be a concern anymore, at least for now. With upcoming matchups against the Raiders, Eagles, and the Cowboys, Palmer makes for a great replacement if your quarterback is on a bye-week.

Unfortunately, Stevan Ridley went down with an injury on Sunday, and the Patriots fear that he may have torn his ACL. Once Ridley exited, Bolden was his replacement and saw 10 carries the remainder of the game. If Ridley were to miss significant time, as it appears, Bolden would see the bulk of the carries, as Shane Vareen is used primarily as a passing down back. Especially if you’re a Ridley owner, or someone in need of a running back, I’d consider Bolden a must add off of waivers this week.

According to the Giants, Victor Cruz has torn his Patella Tendon in his knee, which opens the door for Beckham to produce. Beckham, a first round pick, has looked very sharp in his first two games, beating corners off the ball and getting open quite a lot. This week, the problem was that Eli Manning simply couldn’t get the ball off, and frankly the whole Giants offense was in shambles. With Cruz out, Beckham should produce even more and could end up being a breakout fantasy player for the rest of the season. Beckham is a must add this week, if he’s available in your league.

Amaro had a breakout performance on Sunday, catching 10 balls for 68 yards and a TD. He was a big target for Geno Smith, racking up 12 targets. Amaro has always been a guy with loads of talent, and was taken by the Jets in the early 2nd round of this years’ draft. Amaro can continue to cause mismatches and continue to be a valuable asset in the Jets’ passing game. The tight end position in fantasy is so un-predictable, and if you’re someone who is missing Jimmy Graham, or just simply streams tight ends week by week, Amaro could be a great fill in.

Floyd has had a low-key great year, putting up at least 7 fantasy points in all but one game this season. He has established himself as one of Phillip Rivers’ favorite receivers, accumulating 7 targets last week, and 3 TDs on the season. He took a lot of Keenan Allens’ production; who has had a disappointing season to this point. Floyd should see his production continue to increase, as he has some favorable matchups over the next couple of weeks. Especially if you’re thin due to bye-weeks, I’d grab Floyd off waivers immediately.
