Daily Fantasy Football: Week 7 Discount Diving and FanDuel Cheatsheet
The Thursday night games are over, and what was a surprisingly exciting game leaves with plenty of games, and Daily Fantasy options in this weeks Discount Diving. This week I am spending most of my money on a Quarterback, I will of course list value players for each position like usual so if you want to go cheap on a quarterback, there are some very good options this week.
It is hard to believe the Fantasy Football season is nearly half over, and for some of us the “season” is already over. That is of course where the beauty of Daily Fantasy Leagues lies. You are still alive each and every week. Perhaps you win money this week, you could lose the next week and the week after that, but you could win again. Your season is never done until the end of the season. So if you haven’t played yet, get on board. Use my lineups, discount diving options, or don’t. Ether way you really should try it. There are so many options besides FanDuel too. SKYLLZONE.com is my latest favorite, and utilizes a snake draft format. Not to mention you draft against nine computers. It is also free. Try it now, before kickoff! It takes minutes to draft, and once again, it is free so no excuses.
Week 7 Discount Diving for FanDuel
Quarterback: Brian Hoyer, Cleveland at Jacksonville
Hoyer comes in at a nice price-tag of $6,400 . Jacksonville happens to have a very weak secondary. They don’t force turnovers, and they allow touchdowns. Cleveland will be running with Ben Tate and Isaiah Crowell plenty, but Hoyer has been a lock for 200 plus passing yards and at least one touchdown. I look for that to continue the week. Projected FanDuel Points: 16.3
Running Back: Andre Ellington, Arizona at Oakland
Here is another case of fantastic matchup, and fantastic price. I typically focus on 50/50 leagues, or head to head matches so Ellington is a lock for one of my Running Back spots. Projections, are projections, but Ellington is projected to be the 7th best back this week, and he comes in at $7,100. A safe, and cheap bet. Another value option projected to be in top 10 is Ben Tate. Projected FanDuel Points: 15.2Â
Wide Receiver: Andre Johnson, Houston at Pittsburgh
I didn’t necessarily go cheap at this position this week, but Andre Johnson has a favorable matchup against the Steelers this weekend. Their secondary is not good enough to contain both Houston receivers. Andre is coming off of a nice Week 6 so no reason to expect a drop off this week. At the cost of $7,000 he should make a solid WR2, or if you’re lucky great WR3. projections have him finishing as the number eleven receiver this week. Projected FanDuel Points: 13
Tight End: Larry Donnell, New York Giants at Dallas
For several Fantasy owners the Donnell honeymoon is over. Putting up a combined 0.6 points over two weeks. That is atrocious. However, he is still a huge red-zone target, and facing Dallas in what should be a high scoring affair, makes him a tempting choice. I am giving him one last chance this week, and at his cost of $5,500 you really can’t go wrong. Donnell projects as the 7th Tight End this week. Â Projected FanDuel Points: 9.4
Another option and is actually cheaper is Jordan Reed. I just trust the Giants to score more.
