Week 1 Fantasy Football Rankings: RB, K, DST
Obviously, these rankings are a day or two late, but man, I never realized how much easier it was to do rankings after games are played than it is before! Next week, the rankings will be up on Wednesday and Thursday. Labor Day and the Democratic National Convention will be long gone by then. I posted the Week 1 QB, WR, TE Fantasy Rankings on Wednesday. Today, I cover the Week 1 RB Fantasy Rankings … oh yeah, and kickers and defenses, too!
With training camp behind us, and Hard Knocks officially behind us (pretty boring season, though, huh?), it’s time to look forward to Week 1. What does your roster hold in store for you? Are you light on running backs? (Who isn’t?) Are you wondering why you loaded up on so many rookies? (I’m very unhappy with David Wilson, btw.) Let’s start this season like the Cowboys, 1-0 — whaddya say!?!
Week 1 Schedule
- Dallas at N.Y. Giants
- Seattle at Arizona
- Atlanta at Kansas City
- Cincinnati at Baltimore
- Buffalo at N.Y. Jets
- Carolina at Tampa Bay
- Indianapolis at Chicago
- Cleveland at Philadelphia
- Pittsburgh at Denver
- St. Louis at Detroit
- San Francisco at Green Bay
- Miami at Houston
- Jacksonville at Minnesota
- New England at Tennessee
- Washington at New Orleans
- San Diego at Oakland
Week 1 Fantasy Football Rankings
These rankings are for non-PPR leagues. Lots of props to the guys at Four-Downs.com for supplying the rankings tool and for setting it up so I can have the stats in the rankings, as well! There are several teams with solid rushing matchups, like the Falcons, Ravens and Lionss. And yet, there are also a bunch of teams looking at some tough rush defenses, like Broncos, Dolphins and Packers.
Just remember that you don’t want to just blindly start your backups because they have a great matchup. Just make sure you think through the possibilities.
Also, for some reason, the rankings widget wasn’t allowing me to grab Cardinals RB Ryan Williams. Figure he should end up in these rankings around the 40th spot.
Don’t forget to check out the Week 1 QB, WR, TE Fantasy Rankings I already posted.
You will need Flash in order to view the rankings, which means you may not be able to view it from your smartphone.
