Week 11 WR Rankings — Sponsored by SKYLLZONE – Looking Ahead to the Fantasy Playoffs

There might be no other Fantasy position that offers as much talent on the waiver wire from one week to the next as wide receivers. Our Week 11 WR rankings show how truly deep the position is, and we’re going to help you plan the future a bit.

With just three weeks left in the Fantasy regular season, you’d be smart to start thinking about the Fantasy playoffs.

Which wide receivers will have great matchups during Weeks 14, 15 and 16? Which ones are in deep trouble facing some secondaries that rank among the best in the NFL during that span?

We try to help you out with our look ahead, which we’ve been doing for each position this week!

I’ll be using FFToolbox.com’s Strength of Schedule for Weeks 14-16.

4 Sleeper Wide Receivers for Fantasy Playoffs

Davante Adams, Green Bay – vs. ATL, at BUF, at TB: Without question, the rookie out of Fresno State has been a hot-or-not player over the past few weeks. Over his past four games, he has two games with at least eight targets, six catches and 75 receiving yards. Also within those four games, he has two games with just one catch and two or fewer targets. But for your flex or WR3 spot, wouldn’t you enjoy using an Aaron Rodgers’ WR that’s going up against the Falcons (25th against WRs), Bills (17th) and Buccaneers (32nd)?

Cecil Shorts, Jacksonville – vs. HOU, at BAL, vs. TEN: With Allen Robinson (foot) out for the season, Shorts should return to being the top target on Jacksonville’s offense. Only 12 players have more targets than Shorts as it is since Week 7, anyway. The Ravens and Texans both rank among the seven-worst defenses against wide receivers.

Jerricho Cotchery, Carolina – at NO, vs. TB, vs. CLE: Not only do the Panthers have the easiest schedule for wide receivers, but you’ll also notice that they face the toughest set of defenses for tight ends. Beware Greg Olsen owners. Cotchery has 25 targets over the past four weeks. Obviously, Kelvin Benjamin is the better WR to own here, but Cotchery could have a solid final stretch.

Doug Baldwin, Seattle – at PHI, vs. SF, at ARI: Since Percy Harvin was traded to the Jets (Week 7), there are only 12 other wide receivers with more passes thrown to them. The Seahawks play three defenses that rank among the bottom 12 right now against WRs. They are allowing an average of 24 Fantasy points per game to wideouts.

2 Wide Receivers with Bad Fantasy Playoffs Matchups

Jeremy Maclin, Philadelphia – vs. SEA, vs. DAL, at WAS: No WR corps has a tougher road against defenses than the Eagles’ wideouts. Jordan Matthews is starting to receive more attention from the new quarterback, too.

Brandon Marshall, Chicago – vs. DAL, vs. NO, vs. DET: His ankle injury notwithstanding, Marshall gets three home games, but he goes up a weak Saints secondary in Week 15, but the Lions and Cowboys rank second and third respectively against Fantasy wide receivers.
